Bushnell Custom Compact 6x25 - diopter adjustment?

How does one adjust the diopter on a Bushnell Custom Compact 6x25 ? I recently acquired one & tried twisting the base area of the rubber eyecup, and also tried the metal band just adjacent. I have never used this model, & maybe I just don't know exactly what to grip/twist. Here is a...

    6x32 MG Black

More's the pity that you want to keep your Traveller Mg, as I'd happily take one off your (or anyone's) hands. BTW, I also asked on the Opticron site "Contact us", and they gave the same response - no plan to produce again, due to costs.

    Roger Vine's Zeiss 20x60S review

I briefly had a Canon 10x30 IS II for eval. The top-center-mounted activation button was a PITA to reach/hold. So I did the same as drshr, and inverted them in use. Much better ergonomically, but still a field hack, not ideal. That particular Canon experienced no mechanical problems in...

DIY Image Stabilisation (IS) for binoculars

Not ZLS, but Nikon made one. (Good luck finding in stock anywhere.) Nikon | Sport Optics | EDG Fieldscope 85 VR/85-A VR https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/news/nikon-edg-vr-85-fieldscopes-straight-and-angled https://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/sportoptics/dsystem/fsa-l2/index.htm

DIY Image Stabilisation (IS) for binoculars

From a quick Google search, 5/16-24 seems the industry standard at the end that mounts into the bow. The weight end of the rod may be either 5/16-24 or 1/4-20. Perhaps if you find a rod with both thread dimensions/pitches, you could make it work.

DIY Image Stabilisation (IS) for binoculars

So very kind of you. I shall look forward to hearing from you. I think your idea of an entropy source is interesting. I know the plastic bottle was non-esthetic, but there are probably neater containers. (Maybe wrap the solder around the bottle for a neater look? But that would increase...

DIY Image Stabilisation (IS) for binoculars

Kimmik, Oh, then shipping would make it unworkable. But thank you for the offer, and I hope someone on your side of the pond can use it. (BTW, you have a USA flag on your postings, which made me think you were closer.)

DIY Image Stabilisation (IS) for binoculars

Kimmik, I have looked around for threaded carbon fiber rods or tubes with screw attachments, but no luck on the dimensions. If Trinovid doesn't take you up on the offer of your stabilizer, I would certainly enjoy experimenting with it. (I use the same model of bins you have it mounted on.)
