Collins bird guide 3rd edition in an App

I didn't think so. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Since I don't have iOS, I was just going by what someone told me. He said the interface and all changed but he didn't have to pay for anything. Perhaps he didn't actually check if he had any new info, just an updated layout. Sounds like the latter. Strange it takes...

Collins bird guide 3rd edition in an App

Yeah strange that the Android version is taking so long. Apparently if you have iOS you just reinstall the app and 3rd edition update is there, but not for Android...

    Fuerteventura & Lanzarote

Thanks Nick! I've done the three-day pelagic off Madeira, so not many targets remaining and certainly had my fill of Bulwer's, but we'll give a try! Thanks for de S-b BO location. I hope I'll get lucky on Fuerteventura like Lieven and don't have to try multiple evenings, but we'll see. Thanks...

Well aware of the obvious places, like your tour report, but that at least confirms my suspicion there are no other resources than those.

    Fuerteventura & Lanzarote

Thanks all for your replies! Very much appreciate your help and info. I've got that point noted on my maps already, thanks though. Still debating whether or not to squeeze in a scope, since I'm travelling with my SO and not full-on birding. I've contacted Lanzarote, which seems defunct at the...

    Corsica info

Saw my Nuthatch in dark and drizzling weather, after a shower. Active enough! I was there last year, my sightings can be found here, just have a look through: sightings. Any specific questions and we should be able to help you.

    Fuerteventura & Lanzarote

Hi all, Going to Fuerteventura & Lanzarote for a 10 day holiday with the significant other, so not a full birding trip. However, I can manage to get several days to look for the target species, but I was mostly wondering if anyone would have any intel on which pelagics/whale watching companies...

    Corsican Gen Request

Thanks for the all the tips here: Col de Sorba was great. Made some stops along the climb and walked off-trail at places. Second stop I found a large feeding flock, including two Nuthatches, three Treecreepers and plenty Coal Tits and Goldcrest. Parked at the 'top' and when exiting the parking...

Legals requirement to remove bird feeders in Costa Rica ?????

In other countries, I would indeed think that could pose a risk to the habitat, but isn't it so that in CR people receive money from the government just to keep it as is? At least, that's what I've always been told; people can just keep their backyard their backyard (overgrown with nice trees...

    Local Guide Hemipode

Bird seen indeed. Researcher Carlos GutiΓ©rrez was kind enough to show us around during his survey (while on holiday) so we learned a lot about the birds and their ecology. This allowed us to find a bird and it showed incredibly well.

    Brown Fish-Owl above Adana

I'd say Side and the Green Canyon sites are the best bet. The best time is end June when they have chicks. You can come back when they are calling, but the sound usually only carries like 100 meters or so, it's fairly inaudible. They also don't respond to tape, the buggers... When they have...
