    Inner Farn Trip...... Ethical?

Hiya folks, I have seen all my birding friends go to Inner Farne and what amazing views they've had, but for many years I have put this trip off because to me it appears to be one place where disturbing birds on nests is not seen as a bad thing. Surely if they spend all day defending their nests...

    Howden Reservoir.

Anyone know how long the road will be closed just past windy corner? Went up looking for Crossbills on Monday and had to walk miles with all equipment. Dipped, hoping to go back later.

    Ebay Petition

Hiya chaps, I've seen this petition going around to try to stop Ebay from selling mist nets and spring traps. It says that ringers never buy nets from ebay and only people wanting to trap for illegal reasons buy from there. It also says that spring traps are never used by ringers but I'm sure I...

This pic has just been uploaded on a nature forum. It is in the UK but not got a location yet. Could it be a Sardinian Warbler?

What are these at Faxfleet reedbed?

I saw these structures at a Faxfleet reedbed whilst birding recently. Anyone know what they are? My guess is that they are for resting 12 bore shotguns in by shooters.

    Freiston Shore Warning.

Be careful leaving your car at Freiston Shore. I left mine for an hour and in that time some brain dead place of dog shit smashed my window and stole items from my boot. Must have been watching me to have taken a look inside even though there was no one else in the car park when we pulled up.

    Weeting Heath.

We managed to get 4 Stone Curlew at Weeting. The grass was long but once you got your eye in they were quite easy to spot.

    Weeting Heath.

Ok thanks that will save me time. I've also heard that there's a good place for Dartford Warblers. Any info on that?

    Weeting Heath.

Hi all, I am planning a trip to Norfolk next week and would like to see the Stone Curlews at Weeting Heath. I just thought I had better check that it's not too late for them. Does anyone know if they can be reliably seen next week? Also does anyone know if a place where Golden Pheasant can be...
