    Thanks for your reply adam, the parakeet came back this morning and our lass managed to get a couple of photo's through the window. Im on nights at the moment so I will try to get some better images of it later on in the week if it is still around. .

    My wife managed to video on her phone a Ring necked parakeet feeding in our garden this morning. We live in Brasside. Also had a Sparrowhawk sat next to my feeders. Are parakeets this far north or do you think this is a captive bird which has escaped.

    Seeing as I'm a "Screw" as Frankiex so politely puts it, I'll just add if you are walking around the outside of the counties high security prison with cameras and spotting scopes etc you are going to be watched.
