Thank you. Why? I believe most people (and me as well) use binoculars in handheld mode much more often than a tripod mounted. And it's ok to describe a perceived sharpness in that case. I use a word "sharpness" to describe acutance, not a resolution. In case of a resolution test i fully agree... -

What if you like the SFL 8x40 but don't have the budget for it?
Has anyone tried to screw SFL eyecups into Conquest HD? SFL's are much better and useful, could give a nice combo with Conquest. -

Monarch HG or Maven B.1?
I've got a pair of Tract Toric 10x42 UHD and Conquest HD 10x32. The view through both are comparable. But optics of Toric and Conquest are different to my eyes. And Conquest is a better binoculars: -Sharper on Axis and Edges -Brighter with higher light transmission -More AFOV -A little less of...- dae33

The Habicht 7x42 has 45° AFOV indeed, i mixed up with the Pentax PCF 7x50. The effect of perceptive brightness of different AFOVs is noticeable when comparing similar formats (ie similar exit pupils).
