Yes of course it is. Using an SE Asian guide means you would have to leaf through lots of pages of species not found in Singapore.

Roberts - Birds of the Kruger National Park (updated)

Unfortunately it tends to take quite a while for South African titles to become available outside of the country, no doubt due to the absurd shipping rates from SA. Listed here as available at the end of June Roberts Bird Guide Greater Kruger National Park.

HANDBOOK of the BIRDS of the WORLD question

Ornithology Book Classifieds group on Facebook is probably worth a shot. Two complete 16-volume sets and several individual volumes have been up for sale in that group in the past two years. I would also put it up for sale on Ebay.

Nat Geo was my first field guide and I have very much enjoyed the updated editions so this is disappointing news. I must have missed that Disney bought National Geographic Publishing, but it explains a lot seeing as Disney seemingly ruins everything they touch these days.

Lynx Edicions - What Next ?

Aim having a really hard time making any sense of the direction that Lynx Nature Books (as they are called now) is taking. They claim there is no economy in publishing field guides as publication costs and demands have made it unsustainable. At the same time they are announcing second editions...
