    Twite in Latvia yesterday

This is a linnet, larger bill and colouration. Edit- also wanted to add that female/immature linnets typically are streaked and lack the reddish on the upper breast.

    Name a Bird You've Photographed

Different family- Gambel quails are new world quails (odontophoridae not phasianidae).

For fun: Here's a wordle-inspired daily Bird image guessing game (birdiegame.net)

Took me way too many guesses… 🟨🟨🟨🟨🟩⬛

    4th bird USA-Florida_Lake County

All common gallinules, just a mix; one adult, two juveniles and a few chicks.

    Guess the bird-

    A stunning male nuthatch.

Terns on Allahein River estuary, The Gambia

    Lesser crested terns?

    Common Buzzard - Latvia yesterday

Yes a common buzzard for the first picture, second a lark sp (with such a distinct super I would be inclined to suggest woodlark, any more images?).

Which owl is this please? Cornwall, UK

You can slightly see the birds flattened tufts as well, agreed long-eared owl.

Terns on Allahein River estuary, The Gambia

I believe size (lessers would be dwarfed by the Caspian's), more robust bill and the extensive crest that almost extends to the nape makes these terns West African terns (or royal depending on what guide you have).

    ID small grey/brown one

Did not know booted warblers bred in Finland. Looks slightly like an immaturish chiffchaff but after some research seems as if you’re probably right.

    Kestrels, Mallorca

1-3 and 4 are unlikely lesser kestrels as the 7th primary is quite a bit longer than the outermost primary. 5-8 is more difficult, could you lighten the images a bit?

    Birds of prey, Mallorca

    Yes, another booted.
  13. Bewick

    Large heron, Albufera Mallorca

Yes that's another difference, the grey has a noticeably heavier bill.
  14. Bewick

    Nightingale? Albufera Mallorca

    Correct
