    Grackle with stubby parrot like beak?

    Thanks everyone. It took me a while to get this image, but I think the Groove Billed Ani is the winner. The beak is lacking a pronounced hump as pictured in my bird book, but some online images suggest this is the one.

    I’m stumped trying to identify a ‘grackle’ in Manzanillo with a stubby parrot like beak. Is this a variation or a different species?
