    OK we are going off to Tichwell again in October half term, will be a bit cold for seaside so will do another reserve on the second day, any recommendations, would be appreciated

    Nene Washes and Eldernell

    visited 14th March hopefully to see if any short eared owls were around, sorry to say did not see them, however 2 cranes, 2 marsh harrier, red kite right over the carpark, then just as it was getting dark, a super Male Hen harrier dropped into the reeds to the left of the car park Went home...

    Thanks Delia. He is 11 at present, just loves his ticklists. We recently went to South Africa, and in a bookstore found a small notebook with all the birds names and a space to note where and what time you saw them. He loved it and was just trying to sort something out for UK birds.
