    I initially thought this was some kind of Assassin Bug but now I think it's a kind of sap sucking one. Any IDs as seems to favour the lupins in the garden

    This can't be anything other than an odd Heart and Dart but I've never seen one with the 'heart' so elongated along the wing.

    John. Just an update on my fox which, as you can see, is becoming brazen! Pottering in garden on hands and knees and suddenly realise I have company boldly approaching to see if there's any hand outs on offer! I think she only had one cub this year as caught her and it on the trailcam one night...

    Had this in the trap on Friday night in rural Surrey. Initially (and most probable) ID of May Highflier but seemed to also fit Ruddy Highflier. Any expert thoughts?
