White-winged Doves and one Mourning Dove
White-winged Doves (Zenaida asiatica) and a single Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura). This is the very moment the White-winged doves realized there was a mourning dove in their feed tray (lol). The Mourning dove is the one sitting in the left hand corner.
Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, Lower Rio grande Valley, adjacent to Arroyo Colorado, Tamaulipan scrub (reclaimed land from an old dump site) at 6 m (20 ft) elevation.
Location
Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, Harlingen, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA.
