Torresian Imperial Pigeon (Ducula spilorrhoa)

Like Delia and her White-headed Pigeon, I was cursing these fellows for sitting high up in the trees around our hotel but I was very lucky when one did land in a sunlit spot and I had my trusty camcorder at the ready.
