One of my fav. birds worldwide. Such a beautiful species. Amazing captures of this splendid male.
In December 2004 did I spot a splendid fairywren in a front yard in Albany. The house owner was quite amused to see how excited I was. He allowed me to record it with my video cam. The one and only time I saw this species. It was also a male fairywren.

I was with 4 family members and we were as excited as you....even the aussie half!
