Sooty Oystercatcher 'fuliginosus' (Haematopus fuliginosus fuliginosus)

Poor quality stills from video but I wanted to show the subtle difference between the 2 Sooty Oystercatchers in Australia. This one is the nominate race in the southern half with a narrower eye ring.
Location
Penguin Island, Rockingham, WA
Scientific name
Haematopus fuliginosus fuliginosus
Equipment used
camcorder

Terrific close-up of this impressive Oystercatcher. Love the eye-ring, iris, and bill being orange with pink legs. Superb WL!
