Orange-cheeked Parrot (Pyrilia barrabandi)

This isn't a great photo but someone else was saying we only had one on the website and it wasn't too clear, so maybe this is helpful. Taken at Explorer's Inn, Tambopoata in the Peruvian Amazon in 2012.

Oh excellent Andrew - a super picture of this Gallery rarity. A nice reminder of that holiday too LOL.

I can see this one making its way to the Opus artile too.
 
What a great eye you have to see this bird in the branches. Interesting and a lovely bird you got here. In my bird book the Cape May Warbler isn't in KY, they are found up in the northern states and into Canada. I could be wrong. Have a great week Andrew
