It's interesting in my parts these females are two different colors the first kind of brown and the other orangish-brown.

I found around my house there is a lot of variation in the chest and belly area of the female cardinal and with the male the red can be more intense in some and kind of dull in others. They are beautiful birds! Thanks for commenting on this post.
