Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, Lower Rio Grande Valley, adjacent to the Rio Grande, Tamaulipan thornscrub riparian with native wildflowers and shrubs planted to attract butterflies and birds at ca. 43 m (140 ft) elevation.

National Butterfly Center, Mission, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA.
