Grenadine Ameiva (Ameiva tobagana)
Sometimes treated as a race of South American "Ameiva ameiva." The genus Ameiva is a group of small mostly terrestrial neotropical lizards called "Jungle Runners." Also known as Antillean Ameiva, this one is endemic to a limited range in Grenada and St. Vincent. It's scientific name is a misnomer. The type locality was attributed to Tobago in error. The type locality is uncertain, but probably came from Grenada.
