Golden Northern Bumblebee (Bombus fervidus: Apidae) female. 1.3-1.6 cm (0.5-0.6 in) long. Foraging on wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa: Lamiaceae).
Habitat
Manicured city park with cultivated and native trees with a small maintained native flower garden at 1,473 m (4,833 ft) elevation.
Location
Centennial Park, Greeley, Weld County, Colorado, USA.
