Collared Forest Falcon (Micrastur semitorquatus)

Collared Forest Falcon. I was lucky to see not one, but two of these large, strange, falcons at the northern tip of their range. They can be found from Brazil to northeast Mexico. They nest in hollow trees like an owl and sound like a monkey
