Planning a few days in Utsira in September. Does anyone know where I can find the timetable for the ferry from Haugesund? I'll take a Ryanair flight and I'm trying to figure out whether I need to spend a night on the mainland at either end of the trip. Also any info on accommodation would be appreciated.

Try this link, unfortunately there is a mix of English/Norwegian in the menus/text, but if Overnatting=Accomodation and Rutetabell=The ship route (but only valid 10 Sep inclusive; will certainly be updated shortly?)

Thanks. I phoned up one of the accommodation options and they were closed next month, and another one took too long to reply. Plus if I can't find the ferry timetable for the period I'm there I don't know exactly which nights I'll be able to spend on the island, given that I have flights to take. So I've decided to go to Falsterbo in Sweden instead where I found the people at the bird observatory to be very helpful.
