Yannick

a frogwatcher who likes birds
Hello there,

I just found this forum section...
I am located in Taiwan, and my birding interest concerns mainly the sounds.

Ok, I'll start with sharing a few recordings in Xue-Shan Mountain area.

Hope you'll enjoy them.

Friendly.

Looking forward to it, Yannick :t: !

Hello Mark !

My recordings of Xue-Shan are here :

And there is "Bright as the Eyes of the Frogs", a small collage of Taiwan's Frogs I have realized for a webradio :

Next month, I'll publish my first CD devoted to Taiwan's Frogs. It is the volume 1, so now I need to find the 16 other species for the volume 2 ! ;)

Wish you a good listening !

Yannick (what a sunny day in Taipei...).

ps : I would love to record the Fairy Pitta... What would be the best time ?

Hi Yannick,

It seems you're doing some very interesting things. Fairy Pitta is best heard from now until mid May in the Huben area. I may be able to help you if you came down. Huben's good for Moltrecht's Tree Frog, too.

Cheers :t:,

Mark
