Empid flycatcher, Northern Virginia, September 19, 2022 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I took pictures of this small flycatcher in northern Virginia today (September 19, 2022).

Initially I marked it as a Least Flycatcher (prominent eye-ring, two white(ish) wing bars, short primary projection). However, someone also proposed "worn plumage adult yellow-bellied". It did not vocalize.

Can we nail it down one way or another based on these pictures?

Thanks in advance,
Howard
