Bird of prey identity in Herefordshire, UK (1 Viewer)

Hi just took a long distance photo through the glass window. Can anyone confirm it is a buzzard. It looked very grey with a white neck. I actually thought it was a grey cat that hangs around here. It flew off and I couldn't see it anymore. We have lots of buzzards and kites and peregrines around here, Herefordshire area.

Most likely. The only alternatives would be some escaped American species or rough -legged buzzard: neither is probable (but the photo is very low quality)

Seems to have perhaps a Tropical look about it?

On colours white and gray, I’d say peregrine. But from that photo I’m afraid it’s impossible to say
