Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

If my ever growing bino collection would be a car i would get non stop speed limit tickets….

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Yes and for the price of the NL Pure you can make a nice trip to e.g. Sweden, I think i will skip the 52 mm and call it a day.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

It’s a dangerous road, did you try a x56 mm Swarovski and are you curious about the new 52 mm NLPure like me?

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Today, if i could only keep two (from my existing collection): Leitz 7x35B and Zeiss 15x60 BGAT OR Leica Trinovid 7x42 BN and Leica 12x50 HD+

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Yes, they have the original Uppendahl prisms with 150 m FOV. That would be a good solution if it’s possible to 3D-print the eyecups. Will ask around, thanks. They must be used outside the house as they are made for it: lightweight and rather compact. Perfect summer binocular.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

The Retrovid looks gorgeous, i have the predecessor Leitz in 7x35B. Still useable but i don’t take it outside the house a lot because i lost one of the eyecups once (luckily my wife found them) and they don’t supply them anymore.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Nice setup Paul! This would be my 5 Porro setup, i would be more then happy if i could only have this setup for the rest of my life: Zeiss 15x60 BGAT Swift Audubon 10x50 Swarovski Habicht 10x40 GA Swarovski 8x30 GA IF KOMZ BPC 6x24

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

It’s nice to have options, like if you take the scope you can combine it with the NL and if not you take the SLC.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

My very serious reasoning: If only 5, this morning it could be the following setup. Leica UV 8x20: smal, razor sharp, solid and reliable pocket rocket. Swarovski Habicht 8x30: build like a tank (i have a GA IF ), for me me good ergonomics and great for landscape viewing. Leica Trinovid 7x42...

I would suggest adding a 7x, very relaxed. Works also great when having a hangover 🍻 😆

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Here you go Trinovid, just a quick snapshot. I think its a very good combination, a 7x and a 12x. Both very addictive to look through.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Don’t hesitate, the 12x50 will be definitely a very useful member to your collection. Easy to handhold for me. It doesn’t fit in your pocket though.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Is Cleveland famous for any food? Pierogi, Polish Boys, and paczki, brought by generations of Eastern European immigrants, might be the most well-known Cleveland food. A Polish Boy, not to be confused with a Louisiana Po' Boy, is a kielbasa sausage on a bun, topped with coleslaw, french fries...

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Difficult but interesting question for a lazy Sunday. I have put most of my binoculars (10+) on the kitchen table and I’m still testing and contemplating what is the best combo. Well, there is no final answer 😂. The 7x are so relaxed, so now i think: if only two, it has to include a 7x. But...

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Good point to differentiate choice of bino for a specific season (or geographical locatIon). While i found my Habicht 10x40 often too bright in the Cretan summers in daytime, they shine (pun intended) in the West-European foggy winters.

Smart thinking jafritten, i also would take my Leica UV 8x32 if i could only have one. Hmmm:unsure: or the Leica 10x25….difficult.

I don’t think you need more, you are all setup basically to be honest. Maybe a nice pocket bin.

Reinier, i hear you and i understand what you mean. But i just gave up on restricting myself and if i have the money and i see a binocular that i want i just buy it because untill now i never had regrets and it makes me happy 😃 As to your question: i would keep my Leica Duovid 8-12x42 and my...
