    It wasn't from Amazon by any chance was it? My Sport was originally purchased from them and I returned that due to being very average at best and certainly worse than my Sigma 50-500mm OS.

    I don't have a good thing to say about Bristol cameras. 3 times I have placed an order with them and 3 times I have ended up cancelling after they assured me the item was in stock and I found out a few days later it wasn't.

    I would have thought if that were the case then turning OS on or off on the lens would make no difference to the viewfinder either ... which it obviously does.

    Interesting thread. My 150-600mm sport arrived a couple of weeks ago from Amazon UK (very badly packaged I have to say) and to be honest I haven't taken one picture I have been entirely happy with. Yes it's a heavy beast and really needs to be on a monopod or tripod but I often shoot handheld...
