It wasn't from Amazon by any chance was it? My Sport was originally purchased from them and I returned that due to being very average at best and certainly worse than my Sigma 50-500mm OS.- Mike-P

I don't have a good thing to say about Bristol cameras. 3 times I have placed an order with them and 3 times I have ended up cancelling after they assured me the item was in stock and I found out a few days later it wasn't.- Mike-P

I would have thought if that were the case then turning OS on or off on the lens would make no difference to the viewfinder either ... which it obviously does.- Mike-P

Interesting thread. My 150-600mm sport arrived a couple of weeks ago from Amazon UK (very badly packaged I have to say) and to be honest I haven't taken one picture I have been entirely happy with. Yes it's a heavy beast and really needs to be on a monopod or tripod but I often shoot handheld...- Mike-P
