    Cheers Phil - being a non-pager person I figured I'd be better off with something, so it looks like I'll at least be able to hire a CB if the walkie-talkie doesn't work.

    After a gap of several years I'll be on Scilly 21-25 Oct this year. As I'll be on my tod I wondered if the CBs are still in use, and also if you'd be able to join in using a walkie-talkie (Binatone Terrain 550, if it makes a difference), or if they're for hire by the day. Ta!
