    There were plenty of Coots, Teals, Little Grebes, ... . Migrants could be seen in every patch of green around town, but the Ibis styles (known as the Coralia in the past) has by far the largest area of very well watered lawns and bushes in the whole area, there is even a football pitch.     Wich one are the ponds you visited? In Google earth I could find smaller ponds west of the hotel complex in Laguna and bigger ones further north just west of town.

    I will be heading soon to Dahab and intend to visit Ras al Mohammed and Nabq. 1. Where is the best site for Sooty Falcon at Ras al Mohammed? From where to look for migrant raptors there? 2. Where to go at Nabq? Main targets there are Sooty Gull, Terns and maybe waders. Best regards! Adrian
