    This happened in St Ives bay also . The above incident happened while there was already a ban on net fishing in the bay due to the arrival of a large shoal of fish at Carbis Bay which attracted vast numbers of birds. Looks like DEFRA and CIFCA are the people to inform.

    Don't see anyone mentioning the Bullfinches in Swanvale - I see them in deep at the Swanvale reserve sign and lately across the road from the pumping station where the (never saw it) Yellowbrowed warbler was. Seeing lots of rats but no traps like there used to be ??

    Thanks for the 'College' advice everyone - I usually walk from Mabe to Argal but last couple of trips were through the football field.

    Argal is a lovely spot - I used to get up there regularly walking from Mabe - there are some huge fish in there - saw my only Hobby up there - and met a very sick Badger.

    I was on the ferry down from Malpas - saw a bright white 'thing' and just managed to get a poor pic at 560mm. There were plenty of Herons around for comparison.

    Carrick Roads just below the Ferry - looks like a Great White Egret ??
