    what flew over poynton , sounds like pinkies to me flying in a v 100ish birds ,see a lot fly over whaley bridge heading north west that would take them over poynton ,a lot of them fly on towards southport ,martin mere area mybe this was a flight on its way back

    I would think its quite likely as there are a few seen most day in the goyt valley and thats not far as the raven flyso:)
