    Birding Cape Romain NWR, South Carolina

    Hey, You seem like a really cool dude. Moore's Pier (aka Garris Landing) would be a great spot for some shorebirds, terns, and other species. Painted Bunting may be found around the parking lot. I hope you have a good trip, find a bunch of neat herps and birds, and take lots of photos! --Jared

    Okay okay...so I've been a birder for many years, but recently I'm becoming equally interested in herps (reptiles and amphibians). I'm planning a few days in the southern Appalachians for endemic salamanders then going to try to find some neat snakes, frogs, lizards, etc in the coastal plain...
