    Mountains above Toluca Mexico?

    Elevation I shot him in Temoaya, at an elevation of 8700 + feet above sea level. I will research the song sparrow. It looks like Mexico City and the surrounding area is out of the Song Sorrows range.

    Bunting China

    Not positive. But, looks like a yellow-breasted bunting. They are endangered. I just got threw taking several pics of these guys and gals in Thailand. Here is a male which is what you have I think. You might take a look at this pic and see if it reminds you of your shot...
