    Conservation Politics and Extinction

    I believe there might be a 25 year rule at play here. ie Bird last reliably seen in 1995 will be declared extinct in 2020. If, however, a claim is made in 2010, the extinction date will be shifted to 2035. with me?

    Butt of Lewis Hundreds (if not thousands probably) on north lewis today. One observer alone reckoned on 300 at the Butt of Lewis. Next stop Iceland!

    I kind of clips on, and you then turn the piece to lock it. As long as you remember to lock it I dont envisage a problem and I have found it to be rock solid to date. I walked around for 2 weeks on Foula with the camera pretty much permanently attached. MSS

    best bet probably a Sony VAD adaptor. there are several of these and I would suggest ringing your local Sony Shop. Certainly the guys in the Inverness store are up to speed on VAD adaptors and have a book saying whatadaptor fits what camera. This thread may also be of use...

    no adaptors or rings. It does fit straight on though the VAD does say it is 38mm, rather than 37mm - but they still neatly fit for me.
