    FlexShooter Pro and Monopod

I initially looked at the MH-100 but didn’t want to move the left to right centre of gravity off centre, very expensive for what it is as well. I went for a sidekick style gimbal setup in the end, found a very cheap one on Amazon. Works ok but can be a little cumbersome.

    FlexShooter Pro and Monopod

Has anyone tried the FlexShooter Pro with Monopod, I was just wondering how it would react to side tilt movement? I want a lightweight setup, I’m also looking at a side mount gimbal solution for the monopod.

    Panasonic FZ1000 Review...

Use the supplied PhotoFunStudio to playback 4k video, pause video where you want to save the still then press the capture button which looks like a picture off a camera. I've attached a screen grab of software, note the thumbnail shows what size video is.

    MKIII - refuses to focus!!

Spike, Look forward seeing how you get on, not such a bad thing setting the CF's back to default especially AF custom functions, I would advise you leave AF CF's as default for a while and see how you get on, I change nothing, I have not needed to calibrate any of my lenses either. News is...

    MKIII - refuses to focus!!

Spike, I think you should be on C.Fn III-5-0 which is default. Below is explanation of C.Fn III-5 Will camera try to force itself to focus if AF point suddenly sees totally out-of-focus subject? If tracking a moving subject and the AF point suddenly loses that subject (for example, it now...

    MKIII - refuses to focus!!

C.fn III-5 should be set to 0, Roy Howell had the same problem with his 40D and 300mm f/2.8 when he had set to 1 by mistake I think? Have a read here:- http://www.wildlifeimagesbyles.net/Technique/1DIII_guide/1diii_guide.html Les explains this CF very well. Spike, I would also advise you set...

MK III - Canon holding their hands up...

Well here's the latest from Aus, http://www.canon.com.au/support/customer/default.asp?DXI=KnowledgeBase/Customer/KBArticleForm&File=KB01650 I guess this means that near enough all MKIII's could have problem in the s/n range "between 501001 and 546561" so this rules out sub-mirror faults on...

MK III - Canon holding their hands up...

Paul, I agree:t: what you say is exactly how I look at this MKIII AF issue, I will be sending my MKIII in to Canon Service just for piece of mind. On the subject of high ISO which I don't often do here are a couple @ ISO3200 which I think are pretty good? BTW the Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS...

    1DMK3 Problem's

Paul, I will probably wait for things to calm down a bit before sending mine in, I have only experienced a few problems with mine usually trying to lock on to a small object in bright sunlight so is no big deal for me. I will take it in for peace of mind, mind you most people that are not happy...
