    It is hard sometimes watching everything on camera, you get the highs and the lows, one year we had 5 great tit chick's and none survived, a cold snap and her mate disappeared, hope the rest do well.

    We have 2 nest box cameras, 1 has had a blue tit roosting all winter, nothing in the other one, early April the blue tit started nest building in the 1 that she was roosting in then suddenly stopped, now a blue tit is nest building in the other one, could it be the same bird, it roosted in that...

    The bluetit is still roosting but now it has a mate that sees it into the box at night and comes and calls for it in the morning (wonderful).

    Do you think that it would frighten them off, I have had great tits looking at it over the last few days, this morning 2 bluetits were going in and out, would the great tits take it over?.

    My bird box has a 32mm opening, the bluetit is still roosting, I am in a quandary as to whether or not to replace the opening to 25mm.

    Hi, thank you for having me, i live in the north west of England, i have a bluetit roosting in my bird box, will i need to remove the bird poop before nesting time?.
