    Portugal - October

    I agree with Simon, we've stayed in Sagres for a week in October for the last couple of years and the birding has been excellent. We stay at Sagres Time Apartments which are comfortable, very well equipped and sensibly priced

    I've just downloaded the Kindle version, generally excellent but there doesn't seem to be a Yellow / Citrine wagtail plate. Is this present in the paper edition?

    RFI Birding Sites in Tuscany, Italy

    I had what was presumably a migrant Molotoni's on the coast south of Marina Di Vecchiano a couple of Aprils ago. There are plenty of cantillans in this area, which is just north of Pisa. Its also good for migrant waders and seabirds when its not being used as a range by the military Regards, John
