The difference between 42mm and 32mm is more tangible at dawn, dusk or cloudy days. 42mm gather just a bit more light which for me I can notice the difference. Big deal....not really. Myself I use the binos when I go to the mountain, that is, whenever does not rain and is sunny or mainly without... -

I agree with everything you mentioned Denco. If I ever had to buy another Bino, JUST ONE out of the 2 brands I have, I would buy the SF again. These fits best for me. I do have the NL 10x32 and SF 10x42 as well as EL 10x42. for me, the SF are superior. I find the focus better and the image... -

I should have continued ..... It is also a weight factor. On cloudy less sunny days I rather take my 42mm with me whereas sunny bright days the 32mm. For me 10x42 set up works the best in all situations (haven´t tried the 12x42 NL), but for long hiking days 32mm is a delight. -

Ahhh OPTICA EXOTICA. I did enjoy very much watching his videos and his bino reviews and comparisons loaded at the same time with silly jokes. A pity he decided to take them down BUT completely understandable. For me hard to decide too. I can not get used to my EL focuser, love the binos though... -

Uhmmmmm I disagree but unfortunately I do not say the absolute truth, which is subject to each individual. For me SF give a crispier image and even more, a more relaxed viewing experience. I agree with chill6x6, if there is no usage discomfort, I will go with the 10x32SV. If there was a price difference, being the SLC cheaper, which I believe is not the case ...then the SLC -

Few days ago another birder carried the SLC 10x42 and since I read here in BF how great they are I ask him if I could try them. Was surprised how comfortable they were, no black outs and lighter than the ones I carried that day EL 10x42pro. With my EL y tend to use full extended the eye reliefs... -

Expensive or worth the price. I am sure that many in this forum have 3 or more Binos in their shelves gathering dust that they rarely use them. Is that expensive? Dusk light performance relative to weight, NL Pure 10x32 vs 10x42
When it comes a sunny day I enjoy bird watching MUCH more. All colors pop and it is a treat to use the binos. That said, at sunny days I prefer to use 10x32 but If I see that there is a chance that the sunny day will become cloudy I rather take 10x42 binos. I believe the light gathering in x42... -

Swarovski NL vs EL
As Paultricounty has said they are quite similar. The mayor differences are the wider FoV and the focuser. EL had that missing for me, smooth focus mechanism. I got the NL in 32 and have to say that there is quite some FLARE in some angles. -

Pop and never stop, well buy one and you will see how you soon be eager to buy another one soon. What they have mention earlier is correct, the more money you pay the more features you will get. THOUGH no bino will be absolutely perfect. Some are the ergonomics, some are the focus wheel, some... -
