    Black Phoebe in Newnan?

    My daughter said a bird had built a nest on the rainwater down pipe elbow on her house. The picture she sent me was of a Black Phoebe, but their range does not extend as far over as Georgia! I am coming from England next week to visiting her so I will check it out. Has the bird extended it's range?

    Bird of Prey --- just north of Newnan

    Hi, My daughter told me she has seen a large bird of prey today. It was tawny brown, bigger than a red tailed hawk and not a vulture. Sorry about lack of detail but anyone any suggestions. Thanks Mike

    I am trying to decide on a budget 80mm scope. I have read a lot of very useful threads on this forum. Bresser Safari, Opticron Piccolo (60mm) and Visionary appear to be mentioned alot. Many contributors have budget scopes and seem very pleased with them but many say they will get a "better"...
