    Is this a Buff-tailed Coronet?

    If it wasn't for the red, yellow and black head I would be happy. Can't find another photo of this suggestion with this colouration, Your views please. Did see one at the same site which matched the book and did not have this head colour. Woody

    A colourful birds eating banana

    In the cloud forest of Ecuador specific location unknown this little bird popped down for a snack. Altitude about 2000-2500m. All of the other birds, all tanagers, I have managed to identify but this one is proving elusive. Does anyone have any thoughts? Woody

    Hummingbird missing from my book

    On a trip to Pedernales Ecuador I saw this hummingbird which I cannot find in Wildlife of Ecuador. Can anyone help with identification. Taken from a hotel window near the beach in the town. Those are the only pictures I could get as it was rather shy. Your help is much appreciated. Woody
