    Monarch M7 8x42 problem

I have monarch 7 8x30 which is the older version to the M7. It is quite a nice pair binoculars and the glare problem was never an issues for me. I see glare and CA time to time but it doesn’t bother me. I use it much more than my NL 8x42 and I get 90% of the optical quality with much more...

    Monarch M7 8x42 problem

I have similar experiences with IPD adjustments in bigger binoculars compared to the smaller binoculars. For instance NL 8x42 giving me a less enjoyable experience compared to my mid sized binoculars and pocket binoculars. Because of that I prefer and use mid sized binoculars more.

    Monarch M7 8x42 problem

I would suggest you to check the diopter settings again. If I am not mistaken it could be the reason.

    Habicht for birdwatching?

Hi. I used it a few times outside. But in my use case, I cannot exactly say that I have a big advantage of using it over NL for low-light use. I still like it for what it is 😁 However, I often think about selling it because my NL is not getting any use because of it (I exceeded the return time...

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

The same thing happened here as well 😂 At least am trying not to think about buying more binoculars. Perhaps.... I will stop thinking about it after buying one more 😁😁

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

I like your "limits" and most of them are common to me as well. Except I can't follow the 4th and 5th limits of yours 😁

Change to Zeiss SFL 10x40 or stick with my Leicas

SF should indeed be a better binoculars compared to the SFL given the price difference. I have no experience with SF however I never felt the SFL 10x40 I have is less bright or sharp. I never got any blackout problems with SFL 10x40 which I often get with my NL 8x42. Even the FOV of SFL 10x40...

    My first pair, help please.

GPO is better optically and mechanically to other two. It has an elegant look as well as coming with a few different color options to choose including orange. However you have to check the eye relief of it. It might not be sufficient if you wear glasses.

Best 8x Bino’s for the money

Are both SF and NL you have in 8x42 format (I guess they are, because this thread discusses about x8 binoculars and unless otherwise, it is an apple-to-orange comparison)? Then why NL is more suitable for astronomy than SF? I am just curious.

Appreciate Binocular Advice for Nonprofit Outdoor & Nature Program

I have a few 20-30 euros binoculars and really enjoy using them. However, they have QC issues, warranty issues, waterproof issues as well as sometimes they do come with different specs compared to the specs mentioned on the product webpage or the online platform. I think the best budget range is...

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

If I were to narrow it down to just two pairs, my top choices would likely be the Curio 7x21 and NL 10x42. The Curio's exceptional performance undoubtedly makes it a versatile substitute for an 8x32. Apologies for the delay in responding to this thread! 😊

    Perhaps another game changer

Бинокль Sky Rover Banner Cloud 8x42 APO обзор I found the above review that compares SRBC to the other models in the same price category (I am sorry if someone posted it earlier). It seems the reviewer did not rate SRBC in the same category of binoculars more than 1000. "The Banner Cloud...

    Perhaps another game changer

When we talk about PFAS I am pretty sure you (and we all) have consumed few hundreds to few thousand (or even more) folds of PFAS during the last few decades than the amount of bio available PFAS comes with any binocular lens. PFAS is ubiquitous and used to make non-stick cooking pans to...

    Perhaps another game changer

It is natural for most of us (including me) expended large amounts of money to own so called alpha binoculars from big brand to digest the bitter truth of emerging equity good or close enough model for a fraction of the cost. Initially I didn’t want to believe the banner clouds are that good...

    Perhaps another game changer

Does that mean the reviews from Holger Merlitz and Binomania are unreliable?
