    Interesting Spider?

Yes, an Amaurobius. My first thought was A ferox but I think it's actually a dark similis.

    One of the Dicranopalpus species

    Spider, Cyprus

It looks to have quite a prominent tubercle on the left side of the abdomen. Looks like diadematus otherwise though. Can't your mate get a better picture showing the abdomen clearly?

Odonate, Arachnid another (?) from Cyprus

I think the resemblance is rather superficial. Perhaps the most obvious difference from Oxyopes is the absence of stout leg spines. But other differences are the shape of cephalothorax and abdomen, the hairiness around the eyes,

Odonate, Arachnid another (?) from Cyprus

The spider is a philodromid, probably just a Philodromus species.

    Could anyone i.d this spider U.K 1/1/ 23 please.

My best guess would be a young Araniella. It doesn't look quite right but I can't think what else it might be.

    Spider, Cyprus

The spider in your latest photo is a handsome creature. Anyway, the only spider that comes up in a search for Zoropsis and Cyprus on Flickr is Z. lutea

    Tiny Spider, Cyprus

You'd need to get this one under the microscope. It's most likely a linyphiid, in which case there are hundreds of species, and I'm not even certain that it is.

    Spider, Cyprus

There are other Zoropsis species in that part of the world inc a possible species endemic to Cyprus - Z. cyprogenia

Extraordinary Spider Spectacle on a Scottish Island

I would nevertheless suspect this is related to dispersal. Cool still days in autumn are the peak time for ballooning (aerial spider dispersal). 'Cool still' because it's the best conditions for them to balloon and 'autumn' because numbers have built up over the summer. And so, you get these...

CT USA What kind of beetle?

An oil beetle (Meloe sp.). They have quite interesting life cycles, or at least the UK species do https://bugguide.net/node/view/303/bgpage

How far north do woodlouse spiders live? Are they tolerant of freezing temperatures?

Here's its distribution in the UK - Summary for Dysdera crocata (Araneae) -so well up into Scotland which would be pretty cold in winter, though Canada would be even colder. If I wanted I could find them around my house by moving bricks, stones, plant pots around. It might take several minutes...

    Insect Spain. Any ideas.

It's a tenebrionid of some sort, maybe a Sepidium species
