These photos were taken by a friend at Henderson Bird Watching Preserve in Nevada.

New on here and would love some help

That bullying behavior brings to mind evening grosbeaks, but they are yellow, black and white, not brown.

    titmouse ID (California, USA)

Sorry about this hazy iphone photo, but my sister has been seeing these titmice and is wondering which kind they are. I believe oak titmice are most common in the LA area? This is from where she works, about 30 miles east of the city.

The last images from Florida, USA

It looks like a phoebe to me too, but the shading on the edges of the breast is more indicative of a peewee. Is this something that happens to every flycatcher during the fall/winter?

    Unidentified Wader?

That's fantastic. Soras are usually very secretive. To see one out in the open like this is really a treat. where is this park located?

White birds in Central PA (USA)?

    Scoter help (Ohio, USA)

Here's two more (not as good, since I took them!) photos from the same day. There are other birds mixed in here, including red breasted mergansers and ruddy ducks. Anything I'm missing? White-winged scoter would be a lifer for me. I didn't see anything that seemed like one, but the females...

    Scoter help (Ohio, USA)

Sorry about the faraway photos, but I don't have much of a zoom on my camera (I'm including two versions of it, one zoomed in farther via finepix but a bit blurrier, and minus the bird on the far right.) My 8-year-old daughter took the photo, and she took a way better picture on one try than I...
