    Here's a mega I reckon, Striated Heron. It's not in good shape, very thin and exhausted. We've tucked it away for the night. So fingers crossed.

    We have light Southerly winds with a lot of the Sahara with it, skies very yellow, a Calima ?, anyhoo, some arrivals yesterday evening, a mixed flock of Swift, Swallow, House Martin, and Sand Martin.     Not much to report, occasional Swallow and Garden Warbler over the past few days.

    Good and bad, 2 casualties, Turtle Dove, Garden Warbler, on the up side the Bee-eater has disappeared, so fingers crossed for her.

    A high and a low yesterday evening. Saw something small dodging around the vessel, gave up looking for it, returned to my 'office', and there it was thru the window. Followed by this casualty. Garden Warbler, Barn Swallow.

    Had a mixed flock of House Martin and Barn Swallow roost on board last night, along with this, Cetti´s Warbler?

    So here's this evenings batch, that's me gently encouraging some sugar water into the last Bee-eater, its refusing to fly, any hints or tips would be gratefully received, remember no shops out here. The Warbler I reckon is a Garden, due to no distinguishing features, Turtle Dove and House Martin.
