What are the most interesting wildlife that you've seen in YOUR HOUSE?

Pine marten. I wondered how the packet of chocolate biscuits had reached the floor.

    Birding In Nerja

Sounds like you need to walk into the hills along the track which runs from near the entrance to the Nerja caves.

Birdwatching in Straits of Gibraltar & La Janda

There is currently a blue-winged teal in Algeciras port. It frequents the coast between the Corte Ingles and the northern entry bridge to the port.

    Birding Cadiz (& nearby)

The buntings are to be found where the road from Benalup crosses the old river Celemin. In reality the little buntings are so readily seen that there are presumably several dozen in the area - the rustics are more difficult to find.

"It's a Tree Pipit, on both appearance......" Please could you amplify this for the benefit of the ignorant.

Can anyone suggest a ringing scheme for a grey plover with red over white rings on the right tibia?

Birding at Kruger camps, South Africa

I would be inclined to describe Kruger park shops as adequate rather than good.

Birding at Kruger camps, South Africa

I have always found it appropriate to stay for a few nights between Johannesburg and Kruger principally because you need to shop somewhere and that absorbs a fair amount of time. This year we stayed in an Airbnb in Presidentsrus and in Somabula nature reserve. The disadvantage of the first was...

    Nerja in November

The track mentioned by Alvaro (and appearing on Google maps) will take you all the way to the top of the hills behind Nerja if you have time to get there. The higher reaches have birds like Bonellis and golden eagles and alpine accentors. Closer to Nerja the area between Maro and the sea is not...

There is an american golden plover being seen close to the most southerly point of the salinas at Barbate.

Anyone looking for the american wigeon should go to Bothkennar ponds which are just north of Grangemouth on the map.

    Griswold’s Vacations 2022

Dont get too enthusiastic about travelling down LochLomondside at night. It is not unusual for the road to be closed.

    Pantanal on own boat

One danger I notice in the Worldlandtrust report is "floating vegetation" which can close a river completely. Getting a canoe over a few miles of floating plants is far from straightforward. Happened to us on the Mississipi.

    Guadix and Baza, Southern Spain

I also remember one of the roadhouses along the Guadix - Baza road as being quite good about ten years ago, but I cannot remember which one.
