    Frustrating birds!

Yellow Browed was a species that eluded me for a number of years until I started a job where they are almost annual now within 500 metres of the clocking station. I've now been lucky enough to have seen over 10. Beautiful bird in my opinion very underrated.

    best birds seen whilst working

Having worked on or around the North Tees marshes and Hartlepool headland for the last 40 years or so I've been lucky enough to see quite a few decent birds while on pay including Glaucous Winged Gull, Wilsons Phalarope, Whiskered Tern and Temminks Stint. tough one - NE England

Although not really identifiable from the photo the one that I saw was less than half a mile away and within 15 minutes so could quite possibly be the same bird. One also seen in the same area this morning

    tough one - NE England

Was the photo taken anywhere near Hartlepool golf course because I saw a Great Skua offshore from there at about 1 o'clock?
