    After I bought a used UVHD a couple of years ago, I email Leica Customer Service, and they told me the exact date of manufacture.

    More Major Update: My Noctivids were returned to me this morning! From the receipt that accompanied them, I see that they were sent to Germany for repair.     Minor Update: Received word from Leica yesterday that the repair of my Noctivid has been completed, and I'll have them back soon. Needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to the reunion.
