Can a 25mm binocular resolve sky/cloud detail well?

I think the answer comes down to your personal preference Is the image adequate for you? Are you more likely to carry the smaller binos? what works -- for you? for me naked eye edj

    New APC 50 Stabilised

Comparing the Kite to my Fujinon TSX 14x40 I like the lower weight, extra 10mm, extra mag but do not like the smaller FOV and higher cost B&H have the TSX for $1100 now, guess they are not selling well -but a good price. I will just keep what I have, but the Kite ISs are interesting edj

    Choosing 8x32 vs 7x42 vs 8x25

Blastermaster, It all comes down to personal preference and what works for you. I suggest you go to an optic shop that has a good supply of binoculars and see what appeals to you. My opinion-8x42s are the best all around, but 8x32s are almost as good and smaller and lighter, compacts are more...

    Swarovski prices going up 7%?

Birding, and other nature activities, have always been a helpful diversion for me from the stress of life. A good pair of binoculars will be appreciated. edj

    Swarovski prices going up 7%?

Nothing has changed. Those who want them and can will continue to buy, but I suspect that number with decrease over time. edj

    Monovid minimalist.

I find my Monovid harder to use for birding; as more difficult to locate object, , hold steady and to focus. With its micro lens it is great for little things like bugs and flowers, better quality than the popular pentax papillio. edj

Advice on IS binoc. with more mag.

My limited computer skills do not include posting a picture-sorry. In contrast to most posters, I have never been able to bond with the 12x36 -1. It works well, nothing objective, just me I guess. I really enjoy the Fujinon 14x40 TSX and its higher mag, but wish it has a wider FOV. Quality of...

Advice on IS binoc. with more mag.

I have the Canon 12x36 1 and the Fujinon 14x40 TS-X. The fujinon give a much better view of birds, at the cost of increasing weight and decreasing FOV. Worth it-I think so but opinions vary. edj
