    Depends greatly on what view you have of the airfield. It will be mostly common stuff: Starling, House Sparrow, Carrion Crow, Feral Pigeon, Woodpigeon. Skylarks breed on the airfield and Kestrels regularly hunt. Red Kite and Common Buzzard may be seen overheard. Peregrine, Black Redstart...

    Just up the coast to the west is the resort of Torox. There is a dry river bed here worth exploring and the road up into the hills to old Torox village were quite productive too.

    Iztuzu Beach, nr Dalyan, Turkey. 5/9/22 Back of Beach among scrubby vegetation adjacent to lake at eastern end. Feeding on ground. Other migrants present. Very flighty, easily flushed so only got a couple of usable shots. Single note call in flight, repeated until it had dropped down again...

    Hi Paul, I'm in Dalyan next month. Any recommended places to go around Dalyan/Koycegiz then as I guess much of the summer species will have cleared out? Hope to connect with the Mid-spotted and Syrian Woodpeckers, Kruper's Nuthatch, Pygmy Cormorant, Cretzchmar's Bunting. Have enjoyed reading...
