    Yep my mate was photographing them, he also said some dirty word when the right flew away. Re-encoding did make the quality worse, if you see it on a flatscreen it is very good. I am still smiling...

    Young kingfisher

    I knew where these beautiful birds hang out. I was in a shelter at 6 am and saw him around 6:30 but it was a little too dark. 4 hours later he showed up again and this time he stayed for 10 minutes sitting, watching and relaxing on that branch. This is a young male. He made the day perfect.

    Please tell me about the Oostvaarderplassen nature reserve - Netherlands

    And it is the best place to watch and photograph the kingfisher. There best seen from june untill november. You can sit in a big shelter and wait for them to show themselves. I made thousands of kingfishers pics over there.

    Wildlife guide Yellowstone

    Neil i know Yellowstone very well, i know a spot where a great grey hangs out (particular good end of september) I know where the bears are, i go there for two weeks arriving next monday.

    Hello from the Netherlands

    Thanks guys:t: I am going to Yellowstone with my wife ofcourse:-O for a two week vacation. Last year we saw the great grey there wich was THE highlight of our trip. Hopefully we will see this beauty again.
