    Kowa Prominar TSN-88 vs 66 vs 773?

Thanks for sharing the info. However, we both know the 88 is the best of the lot.

    Car binoculars

I use Olympus EXPS 8x42, slightly on the bigger side but a very good binocular.

    Maven B5 15x56 - Some Thoughts

I demoed a set of the Maven 15 X 56 before I purchased my Meostars. The optics in the Maven were excellent, but in my opinion just a step below the Meoptas. The ergonomics of the Maven absolutely did not work for my face. The eyepieces were exceptionally large and pinched my nose. I know...

NL Pure vs EL - 10x42

Yes, the 10x42 NL pures are worth it. For me, the NLs are the best binoculars currently out there. The 10x42 NL has more detail and more FOV and image from 10x42 NL was more stable.

    Kowa Prominar TSN-88 vs 66 vs 773?

Personally, I'd go with the 88, but you can't go wrong with any of those options. I just picked up an 884 couple of months ago, spent some time comparing to a 773 I was looking at trading for; both had the 25-60x eyepiece. The 77 hung in there surprisingly well even in low light. The biggest...

First Scope - Pentax PF-65EDAII? Recommendations?

I recommend the Pentax PF-65ED body and the Pentax XW-10 eyepiece, giving a 40X magnification. That combination gives a large 1.5 degree field of view, and an 20mm eye relief. Compared to the Pentax zoom eyepiece at the same magnification, you’ll get a wider field of fire and a longer eye relief.

    Chameleons in Spain

From personal research, I heard most of the chameleons in Spain are concentrated in a very small area in Andalucia. You might want to look into it.

Swarovski NL Pure 8x32 vs CL Companion 8x30

The NL Pure 8x32 is heavier than the CL Champion 8x30, so if you are hiking and prefer your binoculars to dangle at the ready from a neck strap then the CL Champion is likely the better choice.

10x32 EL SV or 10x42 SLC

I have both, SLC 8’s and EL 10’s...I like both. For me the SLc’s balance better on a tripod than the EL’s, but the EL’s have great ergonomics and are a touch sharper to my eye. You won’t be disappointed with either in my opinion.

New 10x42s wanted. But which ones?

I own the Zeiss Terra ED 10x42 for birding and I like it. These are within your budget, although I know there are more high end binos available.
